Photography found me early. I was drawn to faces and the quiet stories they carry long before I understood why. Over the past two decades, that curiosity has never faded. What has grown is my ability to shape light, to walk into a space, read it, and create something intentional for the person standing in front of the camera. That process still brings me genuine joy.

Over time, my focus shifted from simply capturing a person well to revealing something deeper. Mood, presence, narrative. I am drawn to portraits that feel cinematic, as if they belong to a larger story. The technical fascination with lenses and lighting never disappeared, but today it serves something more meaningful.

By profession, I work in technology, specializing in cloud architecture, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. That analytical discipline sharpens my precision and problem solving. Photography balances it. Where technology is structured and logical, photography is instinctive and human. I value both equally.

New England is home, and its light has shaped the way I see. Boston in particular offers directional light in spring and fall that feels painterly and alive, with skies that carry a deep blue I never take for granted. Having grown up in Kerala, India, where light is intense and beautiful but often high and overhead, I developed a deep appreciation for angled, sculpting light here in the Northeast. Whether walking through Boston's streets, spending time in Minuteman Park, or playing tennis at golden hour, I am always watching how light falls across a face. It is constant and almost subconscious.
